09.16.23 3rd Annual Community Health & STEM Fest

On Saturday, September 16, 2023, APHF volunteers and staff attended the 3rd Annual Community Health & STEM Fest, which was held at San Diego College of Continuing Education. Over 60+ organizations, companies, businesses offered entertainment, education and resources to engage families and residents of San Diego County.

Asian Pacific Health Foundation was happy to join the event and provide free preventive health screenings and medical education for Hypertension, Diabetes (HbA1c), Cholesterol, Hepatitis B and C, BMI, Weight Assessment, Vision tests for indicated patients.

Special thanks to the following APHF volunteers:

* Winnie for collaborating day and night with Black Tech Link to organize the APHF participation- especially securing the generator

* Alan Doan for his many hats, going over the results with patients

* Thuan Tran for bringing a RN coworker to train for the next APHF Health Fair on 6/24/23

* all the team members for their diligent screening work and smooth logistics.
