At the residence of Dr. Gish, American Pacific Health Foundation executive board members (Dr. Binh Tran, Dr. Kelly Le, and Dr. Gish) met with members of the La Maestra Clinical Team, which works closely with Dr. Gish at the Liver Clinic.
Several members of the clinical team, like nurse Yeunice Z., have graciously helped APHF as volunteers at previous volunteer events, such as the International NASH Day Screening Event organized by Scott Suckow at La Maestra back on May 26, 2022. APHF Board members also met Josie and other nurses during the event.
After a delicious taco bar lunch catered on site, everyone enjoyed an informal Art tour to marvel at the exquisite pieces that Dr. Gish has garnered from all over the world as a tourist. A couple of books containing historical news and documentaries of the Gish lineage were dated a century ago! Another talent of Dr. Gish that attendants witnessed: Ikebana master! Guests marveled at 6-8 stunning floral arrangements (see one below!), large and small, that were given as take home gifts at the end of the night.
