02.01.20 Central Library Outreach

On February 1st, 2020, APHF held an outreach at San Diego public library in the heart of downtown. We were happy to have several pharmacy students join us at this outreach, along with Dr. Robert Gish and Dr. Binh Tran. This location has a lot vulnerable patients coming in and out, attracting people within the community to participate in the outreach.

At this outreach, we were happy to provide diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, and vision care screening, along with our regular educational stations thanks to the large amount of professional students who attended this outreach. Dr. Gish was able to join us at the beginning of the outreach to give a short speech about viral hepatitis B and hepatitis C to the team that hosted the outreach today. We thank the downtown community for allowing us to be present to host this outreach, and thank you to all the volunteers present.
